FitzFunds is a personal household finance tool operated by Trevor Fitzgerald ("we", "us"). It is intended for private use by the Fitzgerald family. This policy explains how we handle information in the application.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. This information is used solely for authentication.
If you connect a Gmail account for order-confirmation matching, we request read-only access to your Gmail messages. We search for order-confirmation emails to enrich transaction data. We do not store the full content of any emails — only extracted metadata such as order items, totals, and the message ID.
All collected information is used exclusively to provide the household finance tracking features of FitzFunds. We do not sell, share, or distribute any personal data to third parties.
Data is stored in a secured database. Access to the application is restricted to authorized household members. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to access the Google APIs you have authorized.
FitzFunds uses Google OAuth for authentication and the Gmail API for optional email matching. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You may disconnect your Gmail account at any time from the Settings page, which revokes access and removes stored tokens. To request deletion of all your data, contact us at the email below.
